Hey Andy

Hey Andy! 1. Our final projection will be 4:3 ratio – 3200x2600px – so that would be ideal. If we can only export in 16:9, then a standard 5k (5120x2880) would work. If we can’t go that high, then let’s have 4k (3840x2160) 2. The plan is to pre-make all the visuals for now, so exporting a pre-recorded clip is ideal! 3. I like having the brush pointers and controllers, but preferably not the palette panels with the text. That way I think it'll look really clean, and be able to focus on seeing the painting happen. 4. We're using a Quest 2 connected by a link to a PC! Thanks!

That resolution is pretty high. You could probably do it live with a beefy PC. But the fact you don't need it to be realtime means it could be done be rendered out frame by frame. Out of the box however we don't currently render the headset and controllers - nor do we render the sketch being drawn (or redrawn). It's not impossible to add these features. There's been some preliminary work in this area and these are features we'd love to add in - but unless you've got a developer willing to help it might be unfeasible in the near term. But I think you'd be better off trying to do it realtime using the spectator camera and a screen recorder. I don't have a 4k monitor to test on. My screen is 2560 x 1600 so that's all I can test.

Thanks so much for this - we're going ahead with the spectator and screen recorder, fingers crossed! Been really helpful asking you and the guys on here, thanks for everything you do Do you know of any developers who may be able to be involved in the future if we're trying to take it to the next level? We're at a sort of proof-of-concept stage right now which Spectator mode will be perfect for, but just thinking about next steps!

Definitely worth asking us - depending on timing and timescale, I'm sure someone would be happy to get involved.
