Postgres database wiped clean after servers paused
We received a message that our card was declined. Then our servers were paused, which is expected. But after we put in a new credit card and paid pending invoices, we noticed all our Postgres databases in all environments have been completely wiped clean.
Is this normal ? Please help. Thank you.

this is definitely not normal, I will ask the team right away
thanks !
Hey there @bahdcoder
Looking into this now
Hey @bahdcoder - the DB is fine, did you happen to run a migration that wiped the table?
Yep, confirming that a command was ran on your end that shut down the DB or was flushed...
That's super weird. We made no change to our migration scripts, neither did we run any manual commands. Do you please have logs of this ?
Perhaps i can look into the command that ran and how
please don't ping the team members
railway does not keep a log of the commands ran
Then how does Angelo know a command was ran ? I think something went wrong and I'd love some help trying to figure it out.
because the wipe was not caused by railway
process of elimination, wasn't them, must be you
but yeah railway does not keep logs of all commands ran of their databases, it would be completely unfeasible to keep such data
Please, could you ask him check again ? We ran no commands, and made no deployments. Database just got paused, and then was wiped.
here's a screenshot from our mod chat
they don't keep logs of commands ran
the only logs they have are the logs in the plugin
I realize how frustrating this can be for you, and I'm sorry but this was not caused by railway
Please tell him I can't restart the database, I can't also see the tables. There's something wrong with the database server, and no we didn't run any commands.
can't restart the database?
Nope. IT says error
Here's an image sir.
Tried multiple times.
Flagging this thread. A team member will be with you shortly.
Thank you for flagging sir.
hey! Can you look at your db again? It should be back now
Thank you very much for your help. All is good now.
