Yes it is and system update via mainsail worked…
Like it says it can't connect to github, if it can access the internet in general (you said system packages downloaded fine), then it must be something in your network configuration?

I found the solution. Maybe others are interessted in. The gateway was missing. I don´t know why I was able to ping some sites like google. But after adding the gateway it worked and everything went back green.
