rpi 3a+ ratos not hosting wifi

Hi guys I loaded the 32bit ratos image onto my rpi 3a+ but nothing is happening. The pi has the red and green led showing but no wifi network pops up on my computer.

Did you enter the WiFi credentials in the config.cfg on the sd card of the Pi? Otherwise the Pi has no idea that it should connect to your WiFi Also, the Pi doesn't open a hotspot. It can only connect to your router

I have built another printer on a rpi4 and that worked without any issues. It did host a wifi network called ratOS and then it gave me a setup screen to enter the wifi credentials

Well then just enter the credentials in the file and reboot

Do you know where to find the file on the sd? printer.cfg is empty on my sd card because I just burned the image onto it RatOS Initial Configuration Please Read the documentation: https://os.ratrig.com [include RatOS/printers/initial-setup.cfg] This is in there I found the wifi config file, no dice http://192.168.50.1/configure Doesn't respond The green led on my rpi is also just on all the time, I would expect it to blink

Not sure the rpi 3a+ is supported. @miklschmidt ?

that's not how RatOS works Have you used RatOS before? 😄 It is No this is the Hotspot IP address, that only works if you're connected to the hotspot like instructed in the docs. It might just take a good while to finish initial setup. How long have you waited for it to host the hotspot?

30minutes+ Yes, that was after adding my wifi info into the cfg file I think it's just a broken 3a+ to be honest, I'll be trying a 3b+ next week

That's how I installed it 2 times. Just wanted to give him a quick help.

Ok then something is definitely wrong Hence why 192.168.50.1 wouldn't work thats possible, i fried my 3a+ but it's tested on a Pi Zero Two which has almost the exact same specs. You can do that, but it's not the intention and it will not add up with the documentation Always follow the documentation or support here is going to be difficult
