Install RatOS from command line?
Hello all,
Currently running v2.0.1 on a Manta M8P/CM4 and loving it.. Due to the lack of Raspberry Pi's for next build I'm looking at using the original Octopus board that came with V-Core 3.1 kit with a Dell Micro PC (I5 3.4Ghz/32Gig/512G Nvme) running a Debian based distro. It currently has a "normal" Klipper/Mainsail installed using KIAUH but would prefer RatOS for the 2nd V-Core 3.1 build.
Would there be a way to install RatOS from the command line / SSH and not using one of the images?
Thanks,
Brent

(If this would require extra work by the developer I would be happy to transfer funds to assist as I'll be using Micro PC's for most future builds)
Not easily. You would have to look at all the modules and then run them and deal with the errors that pop up
You would be better off creating a custom image using the current build pipeline

OK.. I had done some Google searching for a tutorial on how to do a custom image but didn't have much luck. I'll do more searching.. Thank you for the reply.
yeah it uses custompios - the documentation isn't the best in my opinion. You can see https://github.com/Rat-OS/RatOS/pull/52 for example what I needed to do for CB1
