3080's on newegg red flags
Hi sooo my friend recommended me the used like new 3080's on newegg as they are all very good prices around $600 but im kinda nervous about choosing one as they may have been used for mining. Any tips on red flags and things to look out for? And what brands would be the best?

unless it's a 3080Ti, 600 isn't a good price for it
you can get a 6950XT for around that price, the 7900 XT for 750-800 and (in case it has to be nvidia) the 4070 is also 600, even if it's slower than the 6950 XT
i have been intrested in thr 6950xt, is a 850w psu and ryzen 7 5700x good for that ?

Just be careful that you pick a good PSU, since it's the component that powers your whole system
Yeah I got a good one for it was just making sure cuz i heard the 6950xt can take alot of power

my local microcenter is selling 6950x's for around $650-700 which is nice, idk if i wanna try getting any used card from anywhere idk im just paranoid and scared abt that cuz of mining and etc
