resonance spikes on new carriage
I have fitted a new modded printhead into my v-core 3 400 and have been trying to tension belts properly but having problems to succeed on it. Has anyone have any idea on what this could be? Any help is welcome.

what modded carriage?

loosen the belts completely, and use this to tighten both
so far on my 500, this has been great, you can adjust a little if you like afterwards ofc
sadly i can't find the original poster of this file, i know it's in here somewhere though
also, it looks like your belt tension is way too high

Vz-printhead printed but for mgn12c
then the carriage is not modded
the carriage is the thing on the rail

Sorry, terminology got a bit mixed
I know its not the best way but, with spectroid is about 72 i think
forget sound measuring apps
they are useless
its hte least precise method to do that
try the printed part

Ok, will do, will try to print it and check with that
On another note i checked that specific frequency, and noise seems to come from the mgn12c from the right side
I had the samr thing happened before but was loose bolt that rattled the spacers, but that is now tight
well for one thing the two belts are no where near the same tension. Get them nearer the same and some of the side oscillations usually disappear
I’d give it a go too, any specific print instructions? Like 100% infil or something?

i think the original says print in PETG or something, but i've got mine in ASA and it works well
just don't print in something incredibly stiff like Carbon Fibre filled stuff
otherwise, not really, it's so small infill isn't really used
I got some eSun ABS+ will use that, hopefully it will work

had to take a break from the 3d printer because of family health, got back at it some days ago
and this is what i was able to do, using the 3d printed file suggested and making some tweaks to the design
for now, i think i will use it like this, already started doing some prints to tweak my settings
