Stringing and "lines"
Hello,
I've been having this issue for some time now.
I tried different temperatures and retract and this issue is almost always present.
PETG in this case but it also happens with PLA.
It's a VCore 3.1 300 with a Rapido UHF with a 0.4 nozzle and a LGX Lite.
Any ideas?
Thanks

This does look to me like wet filament. You should try to dry it?

I can try it. I'm doing a extruder retraction calibration .. see if it helps
its a dance... balancing act of retraction speed and distance, temperature and speed of moves

did you get to dry the filament?

Not yet but I got a much better print. I had the extrusion mode true on the slicer and false on ratos. Changed that and it made a huge difference. Just need a bit of a tuning to the temp and retraction.

oh right.

yeah, now you have only slight angel-hair, and that could be moisture, but now I would not stress it. (but do get a filament-drier, it's the best)

I do have one. I will do it on next print. Thanks for the suggestions 👍
What slicer are you using? Can you clarify "extrusion mode", please?

It's in German but it's easy toi understand. https://discord.com/channels/582187371529764864/582187372142395424/1059332734935367750
Thanks gandalfpt
What slicer are you using?
I'm using super slicer
I see the setting in ratos now.. which setting is it in the slicer?
Mine is currently set to true in ratos..
correct-apricotOP•2y ago
and in the slicer?
Not sure.. whet in the slicer would I check?
Ie what slicer setting do I look for?
I'm noticing that I have the following in custom G-Code in printer settings..

That G92 E0 is active..

they must be equal .. if you have true in ratos you have to check it on the slicer

@.gandalfpt you checked to use the retraction settings in the dashboard, is that what it means?
