I see the 'belt tension' subject repeatedly here so figured I'd shoot you all a 'measurable' solution. I'm not going to post my tables (too much data to try and simplify to post here)
But over several runs and various tests (for MY printer anyway) I can now set belt tension via direct lbs measurement and assimilate it to a vibration testing result.
OK...text description first.
1- find yourself any printable belt tension gauge. (little three fingered spring loaded gauge)
2- configure a spare piece of belt with two loops, one at each end.
3- install your printed gauge in the middle of the belt, with a hanger at one end, and a fish scale on the other.
4- pull a 'pounds' of your choice and mark your three finger gauge. (mark it a few ranges of pull lbs.)
5- install teh gauge on your belts and adjust as desired. (easy to match belts)

At least it sounds more of a scientific method than my finger guitar cord method….interesting way to do it. Will try it at some point. Thanks for sharing👍
