Part Cooling Fan and extrusion issues

Hi all, purchased my vcore 3.1 back in May last year. Upgraded a few parts and began setting up, had some issues and then got super busy. I'm now trying to tackle it again and could really do with some help. The printer has the Rapido hotend, LGX-Lite and the ebb36 v1.2 board. Issue 1) my part cooling fan only seems to want to turn on at 91% when controlled via slider in the dashboard, that doesn't seem right to me? lol printer.cfg has this:
pin: !toolboard:fan_part_cooling_pin
cycle_time: 0.00004
pin: !toolboard:fan_part_cooling_pin
cycle_time: 0.00004
toolboard config has:
[board_pins btt-ebb36-12]
mcu: toolboard
aliases:
# fans
fan_part_cooling_pin=PA0,
fan_toolhead_cooling_pin=PA1
[board_pins btt-ebb36-12]
mcu: toolboard
aliases:
# fans
fan_part_cooling_pin=PA0,
fan_toolhead_cooling_pin=PA1
Happy to upload config files if required. Issue 2) Filament doesn't want to extrude when trying to do a tuning tower test print for my pressure advance. If I just extrude filament using the dashboard it extrudes OK, although sometimes it does 'click' as though it is skipping if that makes sense Any help really appreciated.

Issue 2 sounds like you have a mismatch between your slicer and klipper config when it comes to absolute extrusion. You need to either set klipper and your slicer to use relative extrusion or set both to use absolute extrusion. If you mix the two you get extrusion issues

thank you for the reply. Where would I need to look in klipper and slicer relating to relative and absolute?

Configuring RatOS Macros | RatOS
RatOS comes with a bunch of flexible predefined macro's that can be customized via variables. In your printer.cfg at the bottom of the Macro's section, you'll notice this:

As for where in the slicer, it depends on the slicer

I would search on this discord, it's been mentioned a few times so you should be able to find some pictures of where to find it in super slicer

variable_relative_extrusion: False printer.cfg so I assume I'm using absolute (never messed with this setting) superslicer has "use relative E distances" ticked so im guessing i have to untick this in superslicer odd because this superslicer profile was the default for the vcore maybe its the printer.cfg that i should be changing to: variable_relative_extrusion: True as the vcore3.1 profile in superslicer is set to use relative e distances by default

Just make sure they match. But that solves why your extrusion is messed up

thanks for that mate now just to figure out this fan lol ok i've fixed it 🙂 cycle_time: 0.01 not 0.00004

Issue 1: you need to plug your fan's PWM to an entirely separate place on the board, and guess who forgot where because I kept burning fans out

fan just needed cycle time changing it seems. now trying to get a print going. still having some trouble with extrusions atm. Started out OK but then mid print of test tower it started clicking and stopped extruding.

is it jammed? clicking means a stall, it's trying to push more filament out than it's capable of

seems to be ok now
