Public API to get usage costs?
My team wants to be able to view usage costs on railway on our internal dashboards, anyway to get this information from the public API?

Not as far as I know. If you're using Railway as a team, you really should be on the teams plan. If you're on the teams plan you get dedicated support from the Railway team
tho public api is in beta
and this probably will be added at one point
unfortunate this isn't available now, excited for when it is!
also as previously said u rlly shold be on the team plan
@eirk @Adam I'm new to railway and I'm still gauging if it's gonna be a permanent solution so sticking to the dev plan until then
Gotcha. Well, as soon as you do decide to stay on Railway you should upgrade to the Teams plan. The dev plan is meant for hobby projects that don’t generate revenue. With the teams plan, you get many more resources as well as a direct support line to the Railway devs (as opposed to the community support offered here).
hey @Adam , I upgraded to the Teams Plan but I'm not clear on how to use the direct support line?
@Angelo will get you set up with one
in the future, please don’t ping the team or conductors unless there’s a pressing issue
Hey @NicoNico - we hit a rate limit on Discord, lemme get you situated:)
Thanks Angelo
Out of curiosity, and for my own clarity, what would y'all consider a pressing issue? I haven't been able to connect to a Railway service for some time now, and it's unclear to me if it's a Railway issue
(i.e. if it's something that's out of my control, and I am due to deploy a service to production, and so having to make the evaluation of whether to move off of Railway entirely and start fresh and deploy elsewhere)
For what it's worth, I originally posted an issue on the Help forum 3 days ago with a fair bit of info:, and got no responses https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1066582066000576554/1066582066000576554
I didn't hear back and have tried to extensively debug on my own with little to no success, so I upgraded to the team plan to try one more time to see if I can stay on Railway or need to go try something else out like deploying on Heroku or elsewhere to see if it's an issue in my code
It's esp. confusing, as I used a Railway provided template
so presumably shouldn't be an issue, and I don't think I changed anything that might cause this ECONNREFUSED type of error
Hey Angelo, should I be on the lookout for something in email or here in discord? I really am liking the dev Ux of railway but if Im unable to debug this issue I’ll sadly have to move over to another platform later today :/
Forgive me, got pulled into a meeting.
No worries! Just trying to figure out if I can make this work or not 🙂
Yep, just a lot of stuctural things in flight. I am going to see you in that thread so we can handle that.
