4028 Fan
bought a new 4028 fan. only has 2 wires and is a 24v. It only turns on at 100%. Then it cools the hotend down to fast from just airflow. what can I do to get the fan to turn on lower speed.

You would have to write which one you got. Some can’t be adjusted (as good as others). They are usually used for servers where they should just cool it no matter how

How do you have it wired?

blk and red to the first fan port
Yeah, sounds like it just doesn't like the pwm. Maybe it needs a different cycle time or something but I wasn't able to find a data sheet to help
You won't find cycle time in the datasheet of a non pwm fan

is there one that you guys would recommend. I fried the first one by to much voltage. This is literally the last part of the puzzle besides tunning.

Or without the extra 1 at the end
If you can find it in stock anywhere
But octopart shows no stock anywhere
The Arctic S4028 15K seems to be a good alternative (less power, but at least in Europe in stock (most of the time))
There are also some ebmpapst fans (24 V) that are being used (don’t know the exact name) or the delta…(that RR sells)
