Is there such a thing as too high of fan speed for bridging?
So I am using a delta 4028 and max out 100% fan speed with a tri-horn fan duct. I notice that the bridging gets pushed downwards (does not look like normal drooping)
Should I lower my fan speed or am I doing something else wrongly?
My print speed for bridging is only 50mm/s with 85% flow

Did you do a bridge flow calibration already?
Cooling ofc also depends on the Material you're using, but a 4028 on full throttle if you don't go supersonic speeds sounds a LOT. I am not experienced with this tho
I use only 60%, depends on material. 100 is probably too much
I was doing a bridge flow calibration but noticed that no matter what % I choose, there was always a sag. So I sat there on the next print and kind of notice the filament getting "blown" around.
I started with my noob idea that the more cooling the better it is, so I went with max speed.
thanks for providing some numbers, good start for me to redo my calibration. thanks
Also don't use the tri-horn duct.
may I know why?
Airflow is uneven af. It's kind of a hack to get more flow. The newer ducts are much better.
tri duct causes heavy forward flow
(which is bad)
and by newer ducts you mean the stock eva 3 duct?
yes
ok shall print and switch back to the stock volcano one
thanks for the guidance!
That one is the best one
Should help a lot with your bridges 👍
awesome
