Two tone print breaking at new color start

Hey guys, Trying to print a two tone bullet. However as you can see a slight pressure on the tip of the print breaks it in half, namely where the new color starts. Beside printing with an 100% infill....what are my other options to make the new color adhere better to the previous one ? Printing Prusament PETG @ 240 degrees. Thanks

Try less/no cooling at the interface and slightly thicker line widths... You'll get a little more squish in between layers that should help with adhesion... Also, you could additionally set 100% infill just in that region between colors... Basically, more temp, less cooling, more squish, more surface area = better layer adhesion

Just wondering what kind of filament switch mechanism are you using? Manual or some kind of multi-material mechanical mechanism? How much time between printing the interface layers?
