Problems with large first Layers
Hey there, my printer is working fine for the most part. but when printing large first layers it looks like in the pictures, i tried reducing flow% already and lower and rais temp but without success. lines on the other hand print fine even 5 or 6 next to each other.
But i gues its still too much extrusion, but if i go much lower other parts get underextrusion

you are too close to the bed
always when you see this waves, raise your nozzle a bit
ok will try thanks
do i need to press the upper or lower button in the webinterface
+ = up
- = down
print something like this, just one layer
okayand move up until waves are gone?
while printing adjust the z-offset until you get a smooth surface, then save config
as Helge said use the
+
commands until you get a smooth surfaceit think its not much waves show up after 10 line next to each other
0.05 or 0.025 step
first 0.05 step later to fine tune smaller steps
you will get very fast very good with it
if you remove the layer and you can rip the layer lines apart then you are too far away
so i need to use the - command because i want the bed to go more down? not +
i struggles already while setup it up initially that + - wont stay in my head how it works lol
look at the arrow to the far left, it shows you which way the bed moves in relation to the nozzle
- moves bed down so thats what i need to get more distance
its not so difficult, its the height you are changing + means more height, right
more height more higher
guess so 😄 thanks for helping, i changed midprint + 0.05 and the print changed also colour the black filament is now more black lol
and feels smother
and extrusion is back to 100%
