Former fantasy sports founder here! I hope your venture goes farther than mine. (Also we have a few people play FPL here)
Yep, so since you deployed yesterday. The estimate is for the billing period, so $3, and you won't be charged.
Because your app is using a constant CPU and about 2 GB of resources, it's likely you'll pay $30 assuming you consume 1 vCPU and 2 GBs of RAM

I can check, but the numbers add up as 1 GB is $10 a month and 1 vCPU is $15~

Yep,
With your metrics consumption, its going to be around $30~
We average out the metrics and smooth it over but I think that would be the cost that you'd have provided no more resources are consumed.
Ok i have a question, if more people use my bot
the increase shouldn't be too much more correct?
I think thats going to depend on how your application is architected.
I hope not, but I don't wanna give you an incorrect answer there.
Gotcha, will look for ways to make it lean
What company did you found?
Yotie, fantasy sports betting, (2018-2020) RIP
The tech worked, we just sucked at marketing 😉
From prior experience with costs, we also needed really beefy machines to ingest sports data. We reversed engineered the Fox Sports APIs and ESPN APIs and reconciled between the two.
Although technically impressive, we should have just lowered scope and focus on GTM

very interesting!
I hope our product helps you ship more efficiently!
I am back again
Interesting, new billing cycle just started, how much resources is your app using?
Well your app is using 8GBs of RAM now thats your answer
Do you expect it to maintain that level of usage?
I don't see why it would use that amount
Well, the period just started. Can you show me your service’s metrics?
@Angelo Did y'all update your operating system?
Nothing on our end changed. I think its an issue with your code. When you profile your app locally, does it consume that much resources?
