Forge Server Installer Doesn't Create the Required Files

I've got the Forge installer, set it to install the server version, and all it spits out is run.bat, run.sh, and user_jvm_args.txt. Attemtping to run the bat file just says "Error: Could not find or load main class @user_jvm_args.txt Press any key to continue . . ." From what I've read online I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I've also ensured Java is up to date. No clue what I'm doing wrong....

Hi! How do I know, if a plugin has a virus?

How can I do a full scan for a plugin? I tried using virustotal on Mythic Mobs. It detected 1 out of 62 Security vendors. for Trojan.Java.GenericGBA. Others was Undecteded. Also tried with Kaspersky, but it was clean 🙂

linking domain to server ip

bedrock server, made the A record correctly and DNS only double checked the server ip and pinged the domain to check its pointing to the correct ip, any help would be apreciated. i also pinged it and the record is definitley propagated 😦 server ip;198.244.176.214 domain name:plantpatch.uk

I want an minecraft server simalar to hypixels island system everyone has their own island and it just works i tried multiverse core it was a pain in the ass trust me it crashed every 20 mins reload wouldnt work normally and i was gettint 13 Tps instead of 20 please someone give me ideas or help me

Hi all, Does anyone know of a plugin that would allow someone to chose a "message pack" i.e. custom death messages? A bit like a tag system but for messages. Am looking to use this for a donor perk so one with a GUI system or something similar would be amazing...

[ASAP HELP] Red commands

Sometimes all the commands on the server turn red like in the picture, but you can use them. Rebooting the server fixes it.

I need a software for hosting minecraft servers.

Hi I am looking for a software that would allow me to easily manage my mc server. I want it have UI like Falix or some other mc server hosting. I want so me and my friends could use an app or a web to turn on the server without me going to my computer and turning the server on manually I know my computer needs to be on. I would to have it so my would create an account on the app/web and I could add some permissions for them like turn on the server. I am on windows 11.

Luckperms error when trying to join server via velocity

Seeking guidance on poor server performance

I am in the process of trying to spin up a Skyfactory 4 server using the server files that can be downloaded from Curseforge. I've got the server running just on localhost for now, but when I connect with my own game client, the performance is pretty atrocious. I can't fly my character around in creative without rubber-banding and the server's console gets spammed with the following message: "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running xxxx ms behind, skipping xx tick(s)" I'm running the server on a Windows bootcamped Mac Mini (LOL) that has an Intel Core i7-8700B CPU clocked at 3.2GHz with 64gb of DDR4 memory. I've dedicated 12gb of memory to the server....

So quick question: I'm hosting a server on my burner laptop and I have no problem joining it if I'm connected to the same network as the burner laptop, but if I'm connected to another network, I can't join. Any fixes?
