OpenRGB RAM/GPU Detection Failure on B550 - Missing i2c_amd_mp2 Kernel Module?

Hello! I'm running into an issue with OpenRGB's AppImage (v. 0.9+ (1.0rc1) on my Bazzite system and could use some help. Issue: OpenRGB successfully detects and controls my motherboard's RGB, but it fails to detect my RAM and GPU RGB, even though both components are confirmed to be supported by OpenRGB....

Green pixel when rendering video & playing video games on Nvidia GPU.

Hello all! Any time I am playing a video or playing a game, a green pixel shows up between the top left corner and center of my left monitor. I am currently using a 3090 Ti. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?...

USB Devices Disconnecting, 2.4GHz Headset not staying connected

Howdy all, While docked, my deck will work perfectly for a few minutes, before my mouse, keyboard, and headset all randomly disconnect then reconnect after a few seconds, but my headset stays disconnected and the only way to reconnect it is either restarting or reseating the USB dongle; this didn't happen on SteamOS and changing docks has not solved the issue. :Cry: Thanks for the help in advance!...

Bluetooth earbud devices changing encoders when playing games at full screen

Where this iGPU even go? Radeon Graphics 448SP was Released January 6, 2022, Radeon RX 5000 series was released on July 7, 2019 so this would be a modern GPU right?...

Screen "resets" occasionally

I really don't know how else to explain it with that few words, but basically, my external monitor "turns off" for maybe 5 seconds, then comes back on like nothing happened. It does the same thing when the refresh rate changes, but I didn't trigger a refresh. The screen is not getting disabled, the application bar doesn't move, games don't switch screens during the "blackout". The audio doesn't static, and no system sounds are triggered to indicate that something happened. https://paste.centos.org/view/3d903ba3...

Slowdown when switching to desktop

I often encounter terrible performance when switching to desktop mode. I have asked if this is a commonly encountered issue and I seem to be alone in encountering it. After months encountering this behavior, I opted to log things today using ujust log-this-boot | fpaste Here麓s the link created: https://paste.centos.org/view/76820e10 I have updated several times and this behavior persists. I also got an error about the paste size being too large (618.6KiB). Hopefully I can get some help and improve my desktop performance....

Clarification on secondary drive automount and how to handle upgrade

A few questions regarding secondary drive automount: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/Auto-Mounting_Secondary_Drives * I have a secondary btrfs drive set up using the old instructions (KDE Partition Manager). Is it recommended to switch my setup to use the new automount package, and if so, how? * I don't see that drive under /run/media/system right now like the guide says. Is that because the drive is already in fstab, or is there something I need to run?...

'ROG Ally' not showing in audio devices - quiet audio

Hi all, I have my bazzite installation that I love as it allows me to play games that runs like poop on win11 (sonic generations, pacific drive), but the audio level is really low. On the Bazzite faq, and every time I searched for a solution, I read the following: Resolution: There are two audio devices that appear on the Rog Ally Family 17h/19h/1ah HD Audio Controller and ROG Ally that affect each other's audio volume. But for me only the Rog ally family.... Device is showing in desktop mode. Volume is I would say 40-60% of what I have on windows. Any clue? Thanks!...

Aokzoe A1Pro: Phantom button Presses

Hello, while gaming sometimes when I press a button or move the joystick, it would register as if I am holding them down. This only happens when I'm gaming. I have reinstalled the controller firmware many times and it hasn't fixed it. Never had this issue in windows. I even paused HHD and it still happened. plasma freeze

The whole DE just freezes regularly for a short period of time. After 10-30 seconds its gone. Sometimes i can still move the windows. Unfortunately i cant tell how to reproduce it. It seems to occur randomly.

Lock screen when sunshine opens.

Hello I have sunshine set to start on startup but I'll like too make it so Bazzite autologins and then locks when sunshine starts. This way I can login through moonlight.

Switched from Bazzite GNOME to KDE and screen flashing white lines

I didn't have issues at first. Enabled HDR and noticed later that white lines started flashing. Turned off Adaptive Sync and it seemed to stop. It started back up again and I gave the system a reboot, no change and disabled HDR. That worked for a bit and then it started again. This happens without running anything, not running any games or using gamescope.

Does Bazzite support AVX512 enabled APU/CPU?

Hi, question about Bazzite, does it support avx512 instructions on supported chips? I have a 7840u, and I鈥檓 curious if I鈥檓 receiving the benefits from it for software like RPCS3. og ally increased total ram usage by around 60 % when gaming after 0325 stable

Tested with wanted dead and rdr 2. Before update was around 10gb in total now it鈥檚 ramping to 16gb. Idling it was 4gb now it鈥檚 around 7-8gb. Now Vram portion always above 0.5gb when on auto(around 2gb when idling). Is it mesa 25 issue?

I see the astal-io pkg but it doesn't show up in rpm-ostree? if I open my rpmostree/pkg folder i see all the astal folders and files inside but I can't remove it or override it...

okay that's why I wanted to confirm because originally when i removed I only removed hyprland since thats how I got all of them
