Approach to Dev Site Refresh 🧵
Yah Nick I took a look at this with Angie last week and I think it’s just: folder renames, moving Markdown files, and metadata changes to lay it out like she’s thinking. Sounds about right, yeah?

Approach to Dev Site Refresh 🧵
Cool update - @dayhaysoos-tbd has got a plan I'm excited about. We've about 5 weeks of dev overlap with the design team. Here's what's happening: * Overall design for page templates and L&F is looking great. * We're now digging in with the design team on content pages, particularly around Community and Projects sections. * Nick has kicked off dev work The dev work exists in the developer.tbd.website monorepo alongside the existing site. It's in a new directory creatively named site-new. This is so that new site work can be done in parallel with the existing site. When it's done, we can lift and shift guide content from existing to new. The new site has a staging environment, built and deployed on every commit to main: https://developer-new.tbd.website/ If you want to build locally, use commands:
$> pnpm start:new
$> pnpm build:new
$> pnpm start:new
$> pnpm build:new
What @dayhaysoos-tbd is doing next is super cool - as he's building out the components for cards, docs, blogs, etc, he's putting them into an index page on the staging site. Each component will have an associated code sandbox and documented guide. That way @devRel will have a built-in reference guide for how to use the site components in one place. As we maintain the site and build new pages, that'll be available to you to get an inventory of all components available to you, see their APIs, and play around in a code sandbox live on the page to help you author more content. Dev has officially kicked off - props to @dayhaysoos-tbd for what looks like an excellent plan, and the start of our getting a super polished Dev Site. Here we goooo.
