I know, I thought that would make for a better chance fr finding a community to get help from. I originally put up a picture of unity visual scripting and was told I won't get help for that here. I've looked around and don't see any real place for UVS, so thought I would broaden it to node based scripting hoping there would be a recommendation somewhere.

It's not UI, I was using it as an example. It is for a prefab, so don't seem to have access to canvasScaler

That worked. 🙂 But I had already configured VS to be the external editor, in the preferences. It looks like it defaulted back to default 'open by file extension' Do I need to forcefully save it somehow to this setting?

OK, I assumed as the line above calls the unity UI, that it was all packed into VS, it just need to be activated with a prompt
