Challenges in Configuring DNS for Custom Domain with Route 53 and NIC.CL on Railway
Dear Railway Community, I am seeking assistance in linking my domain tranqueschile.cl to my application on Railway. I have set up a hosted zone in Amazon Route 53 and added the CNAME records provided by Railway. However, I am encountering issues with these changes taking effect. Here are the steps I've taken: I created a new hosted zone in Route 53 for tranqueschile.cl. Within this zone, I configured the CNAME records as provided by Railway. I updated the DNS settings in NIC.CL to point to the Amazon Route 53 name servers, since NIC.CL does not allow for the direct creation of CNAME records. Despite following these steps and waiting for the propagation period of over 72 hours, I cannot get the domain to work with my Railway application. My specific questions are: Is there an additional step or a setting in Route 53 that I might be overlooking to make the configuration work with Railway? Are there special considerations I need to be aware of when using Route 53 in conjunction with NIC.CL, especially since NIC.CL does not support CNAME records? Could there be a setting in NIC.CL that I need to adjust to allow the CNAME records from Route 53 to propagate and function correctly? I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance you could offer to resolve this issue. Any prior experience or knowledge about similar configurations would be immensely helpful. Thank you for your time and assistance.
