i mainly play on my ps but I tried logging onto an xbox with the same username and password, but it takes me to basic training and my accounts aren't linked,any reasons why?

same account on two different consoles
i got the beta code i own an xbox and ps,however I mainly play on my ps but I tried to log into the same account on the xbox but it doesn't work,any reason why?
