Yeah especially for franchise you need to start small and slow and work your way up. You can always replace small facilities with larger ones later on once you have good profit. To start at $40k in franchise: Staff area One small vet surgery, one quarantine, one small staff room (set to staff Healthcare or rec room) one small research and workshop, animal trade center. Guests One food shop, one drink shop, one merchandise shop, one toilet, one info center, a few ATMs Animals One habitat and 4 exhibits (set exhibit management to sell for cash and check zoopedia for max animals per exhibit) Lots of donation boxes, benches to sit on, and education Keeper hut near habitats/exhibits

Depends on how big your zoo will be. If you're making a giant mega zoo that fills the whole map, you should have 2 or 3 staff areas around. One main staff area is fine for like 10 or so habitats

No, staff facilities have a negative impact area of effect. Basically there is a certain area, like a circle around them, that will bother the guests who walk past. If you open your heat map and click negative impact on guests, you can see how big the area is and place the facilities only that far away. Decorating the facilities will lower this area of effect
