Installation on public computers?
Greetings! I was hoping to find an answer here. I have no Valorant-Account and can't open a ticket there. I'm working at an institution and got the task to set up public eSports computers. Our scripts install LoL and Valorant using Powershell and Winget.
The thing is, we set up a guest user wiping the whole profile folder after logout so noone can use the login details of a previous user. Now I'm stuck with the problem that Riot Client, LoL and/or Valorant need administrative persmissions. I read that removing "Run as Admin" at the compatibility settings should work, but this isn't even checked at our installation. Giving a guest administrative privileges for an application is really something I'd love to avoid. Is that neccessary for the Vanguard AntiCheat tool or for installing updates? I'm new to this and wonder how are computer set up on tournaments? Or do players bring their own computers to those events? Also does anyone know why on earth does installing those games grant write permissions to C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop? for the local Users group o_O
