does Region Change erase cosmetics too?

hey folks from Support article: and changing your Region of Residence will erase your current ranked season's progress, match history, and purchase history. does that mean i will lose all cosmetics too, or just history when and what i purchased, can anyone tell me please?

any reason why? also, is there a list of restricted XBOX countries then?
