controller not connecting to pc controller just shuts off
im trying to use ps5 controller on my pc it connects and says in the corner add a device but when i go on that then select allow my controller just turns itself off.

steam controller problem
does anyone think they could help me bacuese my controller isnt working ( i dont think its the controller because it was fine before i swapped my c drive)
i play on pc steam the controller connects becuase i can test it in big picture mode but it doesnt work in any games
it is a ps5 controller
