GDM no wayland option

Hello I use the bazzite-gnome-nvidia image but the wayland option doesnt appear in GDM after boot and the session used is X11. I know that on generic distros you can tinker a bit with the GDM configuration however that didnt completely work for me even then. Is it possible to tinker with some configs to enable Wayland in GDM on an immutable distro like Bazzite or is there another way to do it? Thanks
