But apparently there is driver support for the corsair commander fan hub. So I'm trying that route

There is an akmod in the works currently. But it's looking like it might not get properly merged for reasons.

Were you able to figure this out? I just got an erying motherboard which uses the same chipset.
I'm sure the instructions are very clear to season linux users. But I dont see anything that gives clear guidance.

Bazzite-Deck/HTPC Restarting instead of Shutting Down
