I was having trouble with the grey panels.. But they work now.
Thanks for your intervention..! You are entirely right of course, but like I said, its more money and the market for the applications is so shaky. Plus I am not sure if I will be staying in the creative industry anyway.

I've tried a couple but as with most things these days: it's yet another subscription... On top of that is the risk the application gets shelved.
But anyway it's fine I have gotten to do what I want now!

Yeah, its OK.. the code Muse outputs ha always been hurendous..! Yeah I could set up the class (styles in Muse) and got it working across all the headers with minimal effort.

@clevermissfox Cheers! I think these things are panning out - I have finished redoing all the headers on the pages - reducing the amount of breakpoints and, I think, made the whole thing a lot more lightweight. It seems to load faster too which is a huge bonus as it was loading very sluggishly before.. Which generally means users leave.

@clevermissfox ...... OK.. Found the issue I think - I copied and pasted the CSS for one (Ihave 2 instances of the text for the staggered animation) snippet of code but didn't change the class - so it went a bit buggy. I have fixed that and... it looks like it works now!

Hey @clevermissfox
It's now working.... to a point. I'm trying to figure out why it breaks. Same page, I got the header responding, I got the leading to be responsive too and also got the rest of the page to move upwards as the header shrinks - except when it reaches 960px where the page stops moving up as the header shrinks..
Honestly I'm not a developer so Muse lets me put the site together without having to code. I have chucked in CSS as I have figured out - but I'm not trained in using it but am slowly understanding it more!
The button isn't sticking - I'm not sure it will work as I want it to as the parenting becomes an issue. But at least you have taught me about parenting so I know what the issue is now!
Thanks,
R

Hey @ Nihan no it hasn't.. The It's Not Custard page is the only place where the close button remains - I've deleted it off the others since it... well.. it doesn't work..

Cheers @Nihan! Doubtless I am doing something wrong..!
I have taken the close button off the pages for the moment and put it on the It's Not Custard page - which now features a responsive header..!

I have just realised I need to go over every other page now to make sure the widths all work...
Thanks again,

Hey @nihan no worries... Any help I can get is genuinely appreciated!
So the page I am messing around with is https://www.roryjmurphy.com/google.html The code thought is probably very messy - Muse uses very proprietary code apparently.
I did nearly find a solution which worked........ to a point. Reducing the window size to reveal the next breakpoint COMPLETLY broke the whole site. So that does not seem like a viable solution. I am continuing to try and figure somrthing out. These looked promising:
https://codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/201327/trick-circumvents-position-sticky-restriction-to-parent
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46913063/positionsticky-does-not-leave-parent
But they weren't.
I did see something about giving the parent element.. overflow-y:visible. But that hasn't worked either.

Hey @Nihan SO I have just discovered my text frame solution hs broken the responsive flow of the page. I have tried looking for a solution that would parent the element to the page itself - is that something that can actually be done?

Hey @clevermissfox Cool thanks, I found a clculator which has worked pretty well. THe issue I am now trying to figure out (by copy and pasting different snippets of cde I find online) is the rest of the elements are not moving up as the text moves up.
I imagine this is because the text is shrinking but Muse's text frame is not - the text frames don't have a responsive height.

... And try to figure out how to stop it scaling on the first breakpoint.. Will fire up Kevin's video again and watch it 8 million times.
