Options for overclocking Nvidia GPUs?
With some research on the Nvidia forums and found this: https://github.com/Dreaming-Codes/nvidia_oc
Looks like command line utility that works with Wayland which from what I gather is what Bazzite and Fedora 41 default to now?
Based on the bazzite documentation, command line utilities should be installed using homebrew but I’m not sure how to do that for this.
If this isn’t an option in bazzite are there any other ways of going about overclocking Nvidia gpus?
Thanks!

Changing Bazzite System Partition Label
I tried to change the Bazzite system partition label which I had left as the default one from the installer. KDE partition manager doesn't seem to be able to do it since it's the active system partition.
Is there any way to change this easily within Bazzite itself, or will have to use something like a GParted Live USB?
If I do have to use a GParted Live USB, do I have to change anything in fstab or GRUB to make sure the system still boots properly?
Thanks in advance!

Trying to Integrate Bazzite with Home Assistant
Still very new to linux so apologies if I'm missing something very obvious here. I've spent the weekend trying to figure this out by searching in this discord and online.
I've been looking into ways to integrate bazzite installed on a living room PC with my Home Assistant setup to be able to sleep or power off the PC and at the same time turn off the TV (since it doesn't wake up or turn off with the PC without HDMI CEC support on the GPU). Turning on the PC isn't an issue as I've managed to get Wake on Lan to work reliably.
I found an app that would provide an integration on linux PCs with Home Assistant called System Bridge (https://system-bridge.timmo.dev) that should allow me to turn off the PC remotely and use its state to control the TV.
I followed the install instructions on their site and downloaded the amd64 AppImage and opened it with Gearlever, and it looks like the only dependency is lshw which already seems to work in the Bazzite terminal.
When I run the application via gearlever it shows up in the system tray but nothing in the context menus work. When I try the "view data" or "settings" context menus I am I'm simply met with a window that says: "Could not connect to 127.0.0.1: Connection refused"
I've tried to look in the KDE firewall settings and can't find any mention of systembridge.
The Systembridge website I should also be able to run the application and potentially troubleshoot it a bit better by simply running it with the "systembridge" command which is not found.
I am guessing that there is some sort of permissions issue with how I installed it that doesn't allow it to run with the privileges it needs, but I am not sure how to troubleshoot that. I've left a question on their GitHub discussion as well but no responses as of yet.
Sorry for the long post, thanks for reading. If anyone has any idea of what to do from here I'd be super grateful!

Nvidia Game Mode 565 Drivers
I’m enjoying bazzite a lot on my Win Mini so I decided to install bazzite on my living room PC that has an Nvidia GPU.
It’s actually working better than I expected!
I know there isn’t an image with both Nvidia drivers and game mode. However, I can start steam directly in BPM and it doesn’t lag like it was reported previously based on my searches.
Has the progress made in the 565 series of drivers been enough to consider game mode for Nvidia again?

GPD Win Mini 2024 Built In Controller Connects and Disconnects
This issue started happening when the testing branch was on Fedora 41 last week. Initially it would only occur rarely but after re-basing to stable today it seems to happen for more startups than not.
Essentially the controller seems to connect and disconnect constantly causing the glyphs at the bottom to change. When the GPD glyphs are available I can navigate the UI but otherwise I cannot.
The other weird part about this is if I navigate to the controller menu when this is happening I will see a controller pop up that says “A1”.
This A1 controller is what I named the controller on a previous handheld I had that was running on ChimeraOS months ago. Is this potentially a conflict with some cloud synched steam input issue?
I’ve rolled back to the previous testing build on Oct 28 and the issue seems to happen less but is still there.
The stable 40 builds previously did not have this issue.
I’ve tested both stable and beta steam clients and the issue appears on both.

120Hz in Game Mode UI?
There was a recent change that limited the game mode ui refresh rate to 90Hz I believe. I don’t mind the battery hit for the minimal time that I am in that UI but do enjoy the smoothness. Is there a way for us to manually set this so that it can follow the VRR up to 120Hz?

Parametric EQ with Pipewire configuration rather than EasyEffects
Still very new to linux so this may be a very basic question, but Is it possible to apply a PEQ using the configuration that is already available for the Ally and Legion go under /usr/share/pipewire/hardware-profiles? I know they're using a convolution file but can the filter-chain.conf be changed to accept values for a PEQ?
I was looking into EasyEffects but apparently that application has a noticeable impact on CPU performance. I would assume these configurations that exist for these handhelds don't have that issue.
Thanks!
