Flashboot not working
What might be the downsides of using an earlier version of the library (eg. 1.5.3)? I'm finding using this version yields much quicker startups.

Flashboot not working
Is Flashboot performance related at all to image size or container disk size? For example, should the image fit in the Container Disk Size specified?
Not sure how Flashboot works, so hard to know what's happening.

Flashboot not working
Well, downgrading to 1.6.2 did improve things quite a bit.
But not as good as before I think, but maybe I just need to wait to see if things get faster through more usage.

Flashboot not working
@deanQ Out of curiosity, do you have a sense of when 1.7.2 will be released?

Flashboot not working
Thankfully I found this thread. I was about to invest a whole day optimizing my container image because I thought a change I made broke Flashboot! Will wait for the new release

Billed for endpoint stuck in state: Service not ready yet. Retrying...
I just switched to fully containerized and dropped network storage altogether, it was too buggy. Dropped my bill from runaway processes from $25/day to $5/day.
Are you using https://github.com/ashleykleynhans/runpod-worker-a1111
?

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
Oh sorry, This conversation is in the context of serverless. so I'm talking about the cost of container disks on serverless endpoints.

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
I understand.
My original question was about Container disks. When do they get billed?
- When they are active only? 24/7?
- Are they billed per worker? Or per endpoint?
- How much are they billed in which state?

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
That's what I'm trying to figure out. If it is billed only when active, then it could be more expensive to use a Network Volume because a Network Volume is always being charged even when it is not attached to a Pod or Serverless endpoint

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
For example, if it's $0.10/GBmonth and applied to serverless active time (assuming per second)
that would be ~$0.000000038580247/s per GB

What do you mean active? Not idle?

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
Okay so $0.10/GB-month?
So an example: our endpoint needs 20GB container disk. If we have 10 workers that would be:
20GB container disk * 10 workers * $0.10/GB-month = $20/month
?

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
But complicated because workers are not always active.
So $0.10/GB-month while active and $0.20/GB-month while not active?

How does storage billing work for serverless endpoints?
But I guess I understand the gist, it's by worker at the price of Pod storage pricing, correct?
