Apps Installed Through Discover Not Launching
i encountered something like this with wanting to install and use chrome. I'm not sure of the precise solution, but I have a paranoid series of steps I follow that seemingly fixes it (or at least allows me to install chrome and launch it). I basically install any and all updates offered by desktop mode, restart, run bazzite update portal or whatever it called, restart, run ujust update in terminal, restart.

Having trouble trying to install some tdp plugins
This tutorial might be out of date. Handheld daemon (which I believe is triggered by the rear buttons on the ally) has TDP control already
