Steam input doesn't seem to work when using gamescope
running entire steam in gamescope solves it, but not very convenient, another solution I just found is running steam via
steam -steamos3, from https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope/issues/1180#issuecomment-21053726183 replies
