well, you can try closing mechakeys and running it with Admin priviliges, and see if that works for you.

It doesn't let Mechakeys overlay the game so the Mechakeys audio works

For example; GTA Online uses Peer-to-peer networking, but still pings servers on the internet that are owned by Rockstar that store player metrics such as cloud saves and account data, even tough the Peer-to-Peer networking allows users to host the Online portion of the game by themselves, on their own machines.
