Bazzite on ASUS ROG Flow Z13 XGMobile eGPU issues
So I have been enjoying using bazzite on my main rig so much I decided to migrate my wife’s setup. (She was previously on Fedora Workstation 39)
Unfortunately I am unable to get supergfxctl working the same way. I’m not so concerned with the gnome extension part, as I can make automated shell scripts for her to click on the desktop. And as far as I can tell from gitlab they haven’t finished the work for gnome 46.
When running
supergfxctl --mode AsusEgpu
and then performing a gnome logout the external gpu never activates and my monitor never wakes up. GDM never loads and I sit staring at the asus logo….
Bazzite is the Asus Gnome image if that matters.2 replies

OpenRGB / OpenRazer
OpenRGB is not detecting my Razer Chroma ARGB Controller. After some searching it appears to be an incompatibity with open razer. Other people on debian have reported that installing open razer breaks openrgbs ability to controll the ARGB controller. Unfortunitaley removing openrazer using rpm os tree did not resolve the issue. Is there something im missing? Open RGB is working with my other devices, so i Know its not udev rule issue.

change cursor theme inside game scope session.
When I first setup my bazzite (living room theater pc, running the deck / gnome version of bazzite) install, the game scope session had its own cursor theme that matched the steam deck. However, after I discovered the theme could be set for the gnome session in desktop mode, using the included tweaks app, it reverted to the adwaitia mouse cursor. How do I go about changing it back to the steam cursor when using gamescope?

Setting up windows gaming VM with dedicated graphics card passthrough using VFIO driver
I’m fairly familiar with how to do this on non immutable distributions, as I used to daily drive fedora workstation 36 all the way up to fedora 40. However I am at a bit of a loss as to how to handle setting it up on Bazzite. Is there a different process to modify grub to handoff the GPU to the vfio driver? I am trying to passthrough an Nvidia RTX 2080 super, while the bazzite OS will run on AMD 7900xtx.
