Tuned power manager tunes too low
I have this issue too on my Thinkpad (it's set up to be on Performance when plugged in and Power Saver when unplugged). It also results in other issues like USB not working, programs crashing, the RTC to fall behind (I don't even know how that happens), and the system to hang on shutdown for several minutes.

Various KDE and system issues in 40.20241013 and 40.20241014 while device is in Power Saver mode
I don't know if it's my KDE settings (I barely changed anything at all, only adding Window Rules for Steam and the Discord client so they don't pop over everything) as well as changing the power profile to Power Saver when on battery. Additionally in both 40.20241014 and 40.20241013 the system hangs on shutdown due to systemd-journal-flush or ostree-finalize-staged timing out if it was on long enough (30+ minutes).

Baldi's Basics Plus native Linux build graphics corruption with an Nvidia GPU
I originally thought that however the developer of the game responded stating that they never changed anything related to rendering since the previous version. Additionally downgrading to 0.6.2 results in the same behavior occurring, even though it didn't when I last played that version which was around a month ago.

Virtualization randomly stopped working and libvirt stuff vanished after an update
Ran that command and rebooted after it was finished. Virtual Machine Manager is fully functional again and the missing stuff is back too. Thanks for the help!

Another update: various CLI tools for virtualization are also missing, like virsh. The libvirt group is also still missing.

Update: after rebooting and running the ujust command to enable virtualization again, I rebooted like instructed. After a reboot I tried running Virtual Machine Manager again and it still fails with the exact same error message.

Fwupd firmware updates no longer work; states "shim isn't installed to EFI/bazzite/shimx64.efi"
Issue has been fixed in the latest Bazzite testing build.

Odd issues after updating to Bazzite 3 on a Thinkpad P16 Gen 2
Just tried newest update and the SDDM issues still persist. Another issue came up though being that Plasma would not start at all even when signing in through one of the TTYs. Wayland complained about no dbus and X11 showed a simple connection refused error.

Odd issues after updating to Bazzite 3 on a Thinkpad P16 Gen 2
OK I experimented a little more with 40 and SDDM misbehaving and found a few more things (I've pinned the last known 39 too). If no mouse cursor shows up when SDDM attempts to load, nothing will work unless I either enter and exit sleep mode on the laptop, or press the power button to trigger a shutdown. Additionally signing in through SDDM once it becomes functional (regardless of whether I chose X11 or Wayland) results in the system becoming completely unusable (it shows the splash when loading the desktop then locks up after a few seconds) and requiring me to press the power button to shut the system down. Sadly I cannot get any logs when in that state since none of the TTYs work properly (they lock up after a few seconds or upon entering a username if I can even get to one) and the session that I'm logged into eventually just gets stuck at a black screen with a mouse cursor with nothing on the keyboard doing anything.
