Weird Spawning

Make sure you are running the latest version of redloader (currently 0.6.6). Though you might want to wait on an announcement of when it's bug free. Until then recommended is uninstalling redloader and just playing the game

A new version of RedManager is out that fixes it. Make sure to get the latest version here https://github.com/ToniMacaroni/RedManager/releases/latest

Red Mod Manger - When clicking on the mods tab it gets stuck on getting initial mod page.

There were some changes to the website due to something that broke. We need to wait for red manager to point to said website changes. For the moment you can manually add mods by downloading from the website and manually putting them in the mods folder, and you can disable them by going to the mods folder and changing ModName.dll to ModName.disabled

best place

There isnt really a best, but you can make a base in the winter on a frozen lake to make sure nothing can attack you during other seasons. But otherwise any location that has only one possible entrance will do for easy defense. Personally I think you can build anywhere, if you build smart
