Is there a way to display the actual battery % while in Waydroid? It consistently shows that it's "slow charging"

Waydroid in portrait mode
Is anyone able to run Waydroid in portrait mode on the Legion Go? I tried setting the height and width properties, but it would stay in landscape, but show half the screen.
