LeGo + Moonlight = Slow Connection, despite not happening on Windows with identical settings
Hi,
I’ve got a Sunshine host that I use to stream games around the house, using Moonlight as a client.
Yesterday for the first time I tried using the LeGo with Bazzite to stream games using moonlight, and unfortunately I’m facing issues.
No matter the settings , it will recurrently display a “slow connection, drop your bitrate” message. It seemed to be reasonably regular , every couple of minutes.
This is regardless of settings, so , whether it’s - 4k80mbps stream, or a 720p10mbps stream.
I know for a fact that it’s an OS issue as, if I boot into Windows on the LeGo, I can stream at very high res/bitrate without ever encountering the problem.
Same for the Steam Deck, same settings, never a warning message.
So the issue is localised to the LeGo with Bazzite.
At first I thought it might have been Linux’s infamous WiFi Power Management, so I turned that off from the Developer tools, but alas, it didn’t make a difference.
To try to rule out any performance issue, I’ve set the TDP to 20w with the CPU in Performance mode (again , to no avail).
Does anyone know what could it be, and if it can be fixed?
Thanks
