Steam seems to limit my resolution to 1080p while my desktop is recognized as 4K

I rebooted the computer; the issue is back again with my resolution being limited to 1080p

I got a KDE update that fix the issue. I tested a couple of game everything was fine.

i also tried to put in the argument “ -screen-width 3840 -screen-height 2160 ” (without the quotation marks).

in armored core 6 & elden ring , in fullscrren & windows I'm limited to 1080p but in borderless windows I can go to any resolution.

I tried elden ring & sekiro in fullscreen & windows mode I'm limited to 1080p no matter what I put in the app option

In steam big picture mode under setting -> display-> advanced I only see "disable GPU blocklist"
