GPD Win Mini 8840 Maxes Out of VRAM at 6.3GB

My BIOS set to auto and 16GB for VRAM both shoot the VRAM to about 6.3GB bit that’s the max the system is using per the hud. Any ideas?

GPD Win Mini 2204 (8840) Plasmashell Crash

Sorry if this has been answered, I did search. After install, gui starts and things look okay in KDE. But once you click on the menu in the lower left plasmashell crashes. Upon reboot, when going into desktop mode, plasmashell crashes straight away. Is there a workaround?
