If I have a profile set in HHD, but then set like 20 TDP in QAM which takes priority?

Battery Indicator not showing when plugged in - Ally X
When I plug my Ally X in it doesn't show on the indicator on screen that it is plugged in to charge. The indicator light is on, but is not showing in steamOS. Is this a known thing, or is there anything that maybe wrong here?
