Now I don't have this issue, but my game just completely freezes as soon as I launch it. So something seems wrong with the latest update imo

I had this issue a few months ago too. I tried everything, even a clean windows install and nothing worked. It was 1 day before my vacation. 1 week later when I came back there was a new Valorant update and everything was solved since then. So nothing I did helped, was a fix from Riot.
