"We have to do this together," Harry urged. "On three. One, two, three—Reducto!" Their combined spell shattered the artifact, releasing a wave of dark energy. The descendant screamed as the power dissipated, leaving them weakened and defeated. Peeves, triumphant, floated above the shattered remains. "Peeves wins! Peeves saves the day, and in Hogwarts he stays!"

The air grew colder as they descended, the walls damp and covered in eerie moss. Peeves floated ahead, leading the way. "This way, this way! Peeves knows the path, to where shadows play." As they ventured deeper, they encountered dark creatures guarding the entrance. Peeves darted around them, distracting the creatures with his antics, while Harry and MC cast defensive spells. "Protego!" Harry shouted, shielding them from a shadowy creature’s attack. They pressed on, reaching the hidden chamber where a shadowy figure stood beside a cursed artifact. The figure's face was obscured, but its presence radiated malevolence. "You dare enter?" the figure hissed. "This power is mine!" "Peeves will stop you, dark and grim! For Hogwarts and toys, we fight to win!" Peeves declared, launching into a series of chaotic maneuvers that threw the figure off balance. A fierce battle ensued, with Harry, MC, and Neville fighting alongside Peeves. Spells flew, and the chamber echoed with the sounds of conflict.

Firenze and a group of centaurs emerged from the shadows, their eyes full of wisdom and concern. "Hagrid," Firenze greeted, then turned his gaze to the others. "You bring unusual companions." Peeves darted forward, bobbing in the air. "Peeves is here for toys, not for centaur ploys! But secrets he’ll share, if the centaurs care." Firenze looked intrigued. "Speak, spirit. What do you know of the disturbances?" Peeves twirled dramatically. "A dark artifact, hidden deep. Trolls and bogeys, secrets they keep. Peeves' toys were taken, by a watery fiend, to awaken." The centaurs conferred among themselves, then Firenze spoke. "The stars speak of a great darkness returning. An ancient curse, tied to Hogwarts' very foundation. You must be cautious." Harry nodded. "Thank you, Firenze. We’ll do our best to stop it." As they made their way back, Peeves suddenly stopped. "A clue I have, for I remember! Wet footprints and trollish splendor. A place dark and cold, where secrets unfold." Peeves' cryptic message weighed heavily on their minds as they returned to the castle.

Peeves appeared suddenly, floating above them. "A voice, you say? Sounds like a ghostly play. The shadows of the past, returned at last." "Peeves, do you know anything about this?" MC asked. Peeves twirled in the air, his eyes gleaming mischievously. "Perhaps. The castle's ghosts, they know the most. An old legend of a cursed knight, trapped in darkness, out of sight."
