Question about the Web Client WebSocket
e.g., If I take a picture, it uploads to the Immich server, and I have the web client open, would the UI automatically refresh with the newly added picture? If so, I'm not seeing it when I access the web client directly using
IP:Port, am I missing something?4 replies

Automatic background backup for only certain whitelisted Wifi SSIDs?
The reason I'm asking is because I don't expose Immich to the open internet. So if I'm connected to the wifi e.g., at a friend's house and take a picture, Immich will try to upload but can't connect and fail. So is it possible to whitelist only known SSIDs, like your home wifi?

[SOLVED] Can I rename the docker containers?
Yes, I've already checked the documentation at https://documentation.immich.app/docs/install/environment-variables
It just doesn't seem like I can, since I can see there are references to the docker container names e.g., in the .env file, there is the environment variable
IMMICH_WEB_URL=http://immich-web:3000 and Note: immich-microservices is bound to 3002, but no references are made. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong here?9 replies
