does anyone happen to know why would val feel more sharpened when I don't have image sharpening on after swapping my gpu? the crosshair outline is way thicker too

my val resolution is messed up
my resolution is different from native, it used to be filled. but now i have black bars and is not filled to the screen. whats the issue?
