Thanks Hikari, I had installed NonSteam Launchers (desktop) in early 2024, and it had worked fine. Apparently it doesn't even work on Bazzite at this time, much less as you mentioned for monolithic prefixes

In Steam, right click on the app and go to the Compatability Tab

Or download the EA app installer, and add to Steam as a Non-Steam Game.

You can use this to install the EA App, Ubisoft connect, and a bunch of other launchers and streaming websites

And when its finished, click "Install .deb file" and install those two .deb files that you downloaded from ProtonVPN/Pass

And to install the ProtonVPN/Pass, download the two .deb installers from Proton's website. Run Boxbuddy in Bazzite desktop - create a new Distrobox with Debian 12

Have you tried spinning up a Debian Distrobox, and installing the .deb files within the distrobox?
