Thank you for the reply. I did some further research and it lines up with what you said. My biggest concern was that the random characters might change for the same user but that seems to not be the case.
My initial concerns came up when my email server failed to send an email to their address due to an unauthorised error. I have since learnt that it is due to not having my domain registered with Apple which is out of scope for Kinde.
TLDR: working as expected
