Suggest another PTC fuse with better characteristics
1) The
0402L050SL will trip only at 1A. In other words, the trip current is twice as high as the hold current. Isn't that a bit dangerous for the PC?
2) The 0402L050SL has a R_min of 0.040 Ohm. That looks okay. However, the R1_max is 0.400 Ohm. The datasheet says: R 1max = Maximum resistance of device at 20°C measured one hour after tripping or reflow soldering of 260°C for 20 sec. Could this be a problem?10 replies
