So this is why I believe a true digital twin is so far out. The physical system needs to be equipped with technologies essentially from the transistors up to be able to actually mirror its state into a model. You’re not going to do that on most devices for a long, long time until this type of technology gets embedded into common offerings (like something similar to Arm System IP) OR the system in question is of enough value to warrant the extra cost to monitor it … like automotive or energy 🙂
